Return/Refund Policy & Purchasing Terms

Returns & Refunds

STOCK PRODUCTS

Any product deemed a “stock product” is returnable within sixty (60) days of purchase with a valid receipt and is subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds on stock products returned before 30 days will be processed in the same manner as the original payment. Refunds on stock items returned after 30 days will be given in-store credit that is valid for 12 months. 


MATERIAL SWAP:

Swapping of material is exempt from the 20% restocking fee ONLY IF ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS are met:

  • The item is a stock material (special order and cut products do NOT qualify)
  • The item being swapped is of equal or greater value than the one originally purchased
  • The material MUST be of FULL PALLET quantity
  • The material MUST be BOTH banded and strapped (not cut)
  • The material for the swap MUST be present at the time of return.  If returned material is not present, the transaction will be treated as a purchase, with the returned material subject to a 20% restocking fee.


It is at the discretion of Valley City Supply to exempt restocking on a case by case basis.


SPECIAL ORDER & CUT PRODUCTS:

All special order products and cut products (such as liner, filter fabric, membrane, seam tape, etc.) are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT RETURNABLE.  Deposits required for special order products are NOT REFUNDABLE.


JOB SITE PICKUPS

Job site pickup returns are subject to a minimum pickup fee of $150 in addition to a 20% restocking fee. Pickup fee is determined by the job site distance from our showroom.


PAVERS

Paver returns must be packaged as they were sold (e.g. sections or layers) to be eligible for return.


CLEARANCE – DISCOUNTED – SHOWROOM DISPLAYS

All clearance items, discounted products, and showroom display purchases are considered final sale and no returns or exchanges will be accepted.

Liabilities

All quantities by Valley City Supply are approximate and are based upon measurements given by the customer. Valley City Supply is NOT liable for any shortages or overages of material, loss or damage beyond our control, or for products damaged or deemed defective by faulty or incorrect installation.

Finance Charges

Terms 1.5% per month; 18% per annum. Interest is added after due date. It is the policy of Valley City Supply to stop shipment of material and record liens on past due balances.

Storage Fees

Orders must be picked up within thirty (30) days; after such time, orders will be subject to a $25/month storage fee until pickup/delivery. Buyer is responsible for any interim increases in price during that time and all applicable storage fees. Orders not picked up within 1 year are considered abandoned, along with any deposits required at time of order, restocking fees, and storage fees are forfeit. Valley City Supply holds the right to place holds or modify the terms for materials left at facility past the policy date, as well as unpaid orders. 

Pricing & Fees

Market pricing is only good for seven (7) days and lead times are subject to change without notice. All credit card transactions are subject to a 3% convenience fee.

Disputes

Disputes must be submitted in writing within sixty (60) days of invoice date in order to be considered valid. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that any disputes not submitted in writing within 60 are irrevocably waived.

Valley City Supply may contact customers regarding their order(s) via email or SMS.
