Stone Veneer

Timeless & Classic Beauty

Stone compliments and enhances the presentation of your home, both inside and out.  Available in a wide variety of styles, colors, and textures, you can use stone to accentuate and highlight the natural beauty of your home's decor.  It serves as a functional purpose as well as has a decorative impact on the overall presentation of your home.  The sustainable and durable properties of stone provide a formal and classical appearance while offering long-term advantages of its use.

We work together with you and your builder/remodeler!

When you're ready to choose your stone veneer, our project curators will work together with you and your builder or remodeling contractor to make sure that the stone you choose is within budget and the design within the scope of your project.  Scheduling a showroom consultation is advised when choosing stone veneer.  This will allow your project curator to have a better understanding of your project and needs ahead of time and prepare samples for you.

SHOWROOM PROCESS

  1. Consultation Preparation

Before you arrive for your consultation, you'll want to make sure that you have a general idea of color scheme and stone size/profile you would like. Once you've completed your online consultation request, one of our project curators will email you to confirm the date/time of your consultation, along with a Pre-Arrival Checklist that will include additional information on color schemes and sizes/profiles. We also encourage you to bring in any inspirational pictures of other stone veneer projects to share them with your project curator. This will help them pull samples of similar stones.

  2. Arrival

Once you arrive at your scheduled date/time, your project curator will register your information into our system. This enables us to keep track of any samples you've taken home, as well as correspondence so that any one of our project curators may assist you if your personal curator is unavailable for any reason.

  3. Stone Preferences & Inspiration

Once you're registered, your project curator will sit down with you and begin going over your preferred stone color scheme and size/profile. If you've brought any samples of surrounding elements, such as paint colors, flooring or roof samples, etc, your project curator will help you choose stones with colors that compliment them.

  4. Samples

You and curator will begin looking at and pulling samples of stone profiles based on your preferences from our samples library. If needed, you may take samples home that day, or you may return at a later date to pick them up. Your curator will also help you choose any stone accents or accessories, such as grout color/look, engraved address stones, hearth stones, window trim, sills, and keystones.

  5. Final Selection & Ordering

Once you're happy with your stone selection, your project curator will send you an electronic confirmation of your selection. Once confirmed, we will inform your builder or remodeling contractor of your selection and your stone will be ordered within the timeframe that it is needed.

DRYSTACK JOINT

Accomplished by "dry" fitting stone together, each piece can be laid with virtually no joint.  The finished look is a tightly stacked stone appearance.

OVERGROUT JOINT

Creating an old-world, rustic, and aged look, the grout overlaps the face of the stone, widening joints and making them appear very irregular.

STANDARD JOINT

Achieved by laying stone roughly one finger width apart, grout is installed between each stone and fulfills a more consistent depth, resulting in a smoother, overall look.
