Position Description

We are now hiring for a Showroom Design & Sales Consultant. A friendly, flexible, and outgoing person is needed to help with internal sales, customer service, and greeting and assisting customers in the showroom in a fast-paced work environment. As a valued team member, you should enjoy helping others and possess strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to situations and technology.

Job Duties & Tasks:

  • Inside sales and customer service with both homeowner and contractor clientele
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with both new and long-term customers
  • Working with new and existing customers with ordering and helping them make product selections by promoting customer confidence, offering suggestions, and by recommending products that match their needs and color preferences
  • Lead generation follow up and taking initiative to grow sales and customer base
  • Keeping customers informed of order updates
  • Estimating and ordering products
  • Help to keep showroom clean, restocking brochures, and putting away samples
  • Effectively communicate with other team members through daily briefings and notes

Position Requirements & Benefits:

  • Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • A Bachelors Degree is preferred but not required -or- at least three (3) years of relevant showroom work experience in sales/customer service
  • Construction industry or project management experience a plus but not required
  • Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and assist other team members when needed
  • Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Desire to grow and ability to learn and challenge yourself
  • Creativity and innovative thinking
  • Must be technology savvy with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Office 365 and easily adapt/learn new programs and technology.  Will be required to take a Microsoft Excel assessment test.
  • Hubspot CRM/Sales software experience a plus but not required
  • Promptness with both attendance and project completion
  • Pass a basic Math assessment test both with and without a calculator
  • Casual dress (Yes, you can wear jeans to work!)

  • Full-time with additional time and a half for overtime hours
  • Most schedules include 1/2 day on Saturdays

Come join our family-owned company and be home with your family on the evenings and weekends! We are looking to hire a dedicated driver with a Class A CDL to travel to Cincinnati, Cleveland, and local vicinity.  We offer good pay, health insurance, and well-maintained trucks.  Two (2) years prior driving experience required. Moffett experience a plus. Successful candidates must a have a good driving record, current/valid DOT Medical Card, and are able to pass a drug test.
